Member of the Higher Islamic Council, founding member of the National Shari'ah Fatwa Authority for the Islamic Finance Industry, member of the Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of BNP PARIBAS Algeria and CNEP Banque. Consultant expert to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments of the Algerian Republic and the Islamic Development Bank. Expert in Waqf and Takaful insurance. He also has over 38 years of experience in teaching, having taught Islamic finance, Takaful insurance, Zakat and Waqf in undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs in Algeria and internationally. He has published numerous articles and books in the field of Islamic finance and banking as well as Waqf. Founding member of the Zakat Fund in Algeria and founder of the Monetary Waqf Fund in Niger. Fluent in three languages, he holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris II and a Master's degree from England, as well as certificates in Shari'ah sciences and translation and linguistic verification. He has received several scientific awards from universities in Algeria and abroad.
