Global Islamic Financing Agreement Signed Between CGMP and SOTROWIB of the wilaya of Blida

A global Islamic financing agreement was signed on Sunday morning, October 6th, 2024, between the Central Region Directorate of the Public Procurement Guarantee Fund (CGMP) and the public economic enterprise SOTROWIB of wilaya of Blida. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Oualid Nasri, Director General of CGMP, and attended by members of the Sharia committee and several central and regional directors and managers.

Mr. Oualid Nasri emphasized the importance that CGMP attaches to such agreements specific to Islamic finance, thus concretizing the state's policy of encouraging all products related to Islamic financing. He also indicated that the fund is ready to support public and private companies to help them overcome the financial difficulties that hinder the completion of public projects.

In his speech to the audience, Mr. Ouled Diaf Mohamed, Director General of SOTROWIB, thanked the Public Procurement Guarantee Fund, represented by all its executives, particularly those of the central regional directorate, for the excellent support and attention they have given to the conclusion of this agreement, which is in line with the state's general policy on Islamic finance, as well as for the financial support to public companies carrying out public orders. The members of the CGMP's Sharia committee expressed their satisfaction and congratulations on the success of the Islamic finance product within the Fund, which is relatively new compared to other financial institutions. Mr. Abdeljalil Benzamouche, Central Region Director of CGMP, and Mr. Ouled Diaf Mohamed, Director General of SOTROWIB, signed the global Islamic financing agreement to the applause of all participants.
