Minute of silence in memory of October 17, 1961

On Thursday, October 16th, 2025 the staff of the Public Procurement Guarantee Fund observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the October 17th, 1961 massacre. This tragic date commemorates the bloody repression of a peaceful demonstration by Algerians in Paris, protesting injustice and demanding an end to colonialism. Many demonstrators lost their lives, forever engraved in the collective memory of the Algerian people.
