Minutes of the meeting of the Audit Committee of the Public Procurement Guarantee Fund

On 10 Ramadan 1445, corresponding to 20 March 2024, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the CGMP, bringing together the members of the Charaique Control Committee and the representatives of the CGMP in this case Mr. Amrani Rachid Chargé de mission , responsible for Islamic finance, Mr. Derdoum Hamid, Director of Finance and Accounting, and Mr. Kardache. Nabil Chargé de mission, in charge of Management Control and Secretariat of the Board of Directors, and Mrs Fassouli Amal charaique auditor, in the presence of Mr Director General Oualid Nasri.

The agenda of this meeting was mainly focused on the review of the financial statements at 31.12.2023 and the presentation of the annual report of the charaical control committee concerning the legality of the transactions carried out by the CGMP during the year 2023.

On the basis of the transaction documents and after examination of the accounts, the Audit Committee shall consider:

  • The contracts, procedures and transactions concluded by the Islamic branch during the past year have been executed in accordance with the provisions and principles of the Islamic Sharia, and all the opinions and decisions that we have expressed regarding compliance with the Sharia aspects of the products presented to us have been respected.

  • The financial transactions and banking services carried out by the branch during the year mentioned in this report are in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia, recommendations issued by the Charaic Control Committee and fatwas issued by the National Sharia Authority for fatwa for the Islamic financial industry.

  • Accounting entries and preparation of financial statements have been properly prepared in accordance with Sharia principles.

The Committee congratulates the CGMP for its efforts and the positive results achieved in a short time. These results are encouraging and augur well for a promising future for the activity of Islamic finance within the institution. The Committee mandated its Chairman, Professor Abdelrahmane Snoussi, to present the report to the Board of Directors of the Fund. The report was given to the Director General at the end of the meeting.
